Lipid-based systems for the Local Treatment of Ulcerative Colitis
The Pharmaceutical Technology research group of Prof. Paola Luciani at the University of Bern is seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate to join the research team in the field of drug delivery, focusing on the development of lipid-based systems for targeted drug delivery to inflamed colonic tissue. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a project that combines materials science, advanced drug delivery techniques and in vivo studies aimed at improving therapies for inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD). The candidate will gain experience in both in vitro and in vivo experiments, contributing to this translational research.
Duration: up to 4 years
